Chris Rodenfels

Chris Rodenfels founded the Rodenfels Family Foundation in 2005 with the intent of helping worthwhile causes and providing an opportunity for family members and close friends to actively participate in the giving process. He has been Chairman of the Board of Directors from the foundation's inception.
Chris began his career in the manufacturing of adhesives, sealants and coatings in Southern California. In 1985, Chris entered the insurance industry eventually becoming President and major shareholder of BMI Insurance Services, Incorporated in Long Beach, California. In 2003, Chris and his partners merged BMI Insurance Services with the national insurance broker USI Holdings, Incorporated (NASDAQ symbol USIH). In addition to his involvement in the insurance industry, Chris has numerous other business interests.
Chris is a member of Rotary International and was the 2007 President of the Signal Hill Rotary Club, an office he has held in the past. Chris' other Rotary service has included serving as Race Director of the Signal Hill 5K/10K Run for Charity. In addition to his Rotary activity, Chris served as a Commissioner on the Signal Hill Civil Service Commission, and has been an active member of both the Long Beach and Signal Hill Chambers of Commerce. In 2003, Chris established a Charitable Remainder Trust to help fund The President's Scholar Program at California State University, Long Beach.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing with a Certificate in International Business from California State University, Long Beach.

Clint Rodenfels

Clint Rodenfels has been a member of the Rodenfels Family Foundation Board of Directors since 2005. Currently, Clint is a former Dean of Student Services at Austin Community College's Northridge Campus. The bulk of his professional experience stems from his many years with The Capital Group Companies in Los Angeles, California where he was Assistant Vice President responsible for desktop computer support along with his role as Director of the Graduation Initiative at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition to higher education and information technology, Clint has worked as a technical recruiter and as a technical writer. He is also a published author of humorous stories.
Clint has long been involved in charitable organizations at both the individual volunteer and the governance level with a primary focus on crisis intervention and youth issues. Clint is a member of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA), the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA), and the Texas Community College Teachers Association (TCCTA).
Clint holds a Master of Social Work from Texas State University at San Marcos along with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Systems - Business Computer Methods and a Certificate in Technical Writing, both from California State University, Long Beach.
